Musicians...

of sorts, at least.

Talking about the story a bit:
The idea is to focus it entirely on music and, of course, musicians. I came up with it 4 (or 5?) years ago and wanted to work with a friend of mine (who is a conservatory musician) and create something like Prokofiev's 'Peter and the Wolf', only darker, more fantasy-oriented and accompanying each musicians' peculiar way of playing music:
Boodlun, for example, scatters his thoughts through his music; Filissio's music poisons the air. It's because he naturally exudes poison, so he uses his suit to prevent intoxicating others, but unfortunately his poisonous nature flows in his music and, even if it's melancholy and beautiful, it kills you with time (just like sadness).

+Worthy of noting:

There is a saying that goes "there is nothing new under the sun", but Borges wisely points out in one of his essays "maybe 70 years of being forgotten make it a novelty [talking about a peculiar religious text]". This applies to everything, I believe. And it also brings me to memory that "those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it", because once you know what has happened, you can understand what is 'new' or not too.
Anyways, I mention all of this, because I thought Filissio's concept (of poisoning the air and all that) was new. Two years ago I read "Chamario" (I think that's the title) from publisher Ekaré, and in one of the poems Eduardo Polo talks about a scorpion that plays a violin, but that the audience died because of the poison, so... we are all using ideas of someone else, we just don't know it :/
(which begs the question: then who exactly thought the first idea that then echoes through time? > 1. No one. In eternity there is no "first" idea.
2. There are no ideas. There are only realities perceived by those not in them and hence, no one can think of anything that does not exist in one or more parallel realities.
3. The source is the vast and diminishing pool of ideas that constitutes the outside of each universe: that is why our universe expands into 'nothing' -which is this pool- and at the same times consumes it. Thus the next time the universe 'resets' itself, it'll be because there is no 'nothing' to suck into our reality
