There are those who believe that the word Halloween comes from the contraction of All Hallows Eve. The truth my friends is that it does come from a shortening of words; but its from Hall of the Wein.
The ancient ones knew that during fall, the dead and the living were allowed to visit each others realms, hence a bridge would be accesible to both worlds connecting them for 72 hours (31rst of October to 2nd of November), upon this time coming to an end, the visitors were transported to their respective worlds. The Wein is the keeper and controller of this flow, it is neither alive nor dead, but both. Because it doesnt have anything else to do for the other 363 days it folds and unfolds the reality in the Hall, each year making it new everytime. Now, you may be asking what about ghosts, spectres, wraiths, zombies, etc that are in our world, well, the Wein cant leave the hall connecting both worlds, it can only return creatures to their original plane if they crossed the Hall and it is not in its responsabilities to search for fugitive dead or living creatures. There are however rumors that although this is the official way to travel between the two realms there are other ways to travel to any of them

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
